I wrote this two years ago after being most pleasantly surprised when I looked out of the window onto the little lake behind our house.  This is one of my favorite set of pictures and I wanted to give them a proper home. I’ve shared this with some of you before. Now I wish to take you all along with me.

Come  with me, dear friends, to the world unseen…

On Saturday, I awoke to a heavy fog encircling our house and the lake…

Suddenly, I saw a world that is always there, but rarely seen.  The veil had been lifted, for a brief time, to reveal a magical realm…

spider’s webs, laced with pearls and diamonds…

some seemed invisible…

I spent much time in this magical place, this unseen world, until the sun chased away the fog and the veil gently fell back into place…

like a dream…
